Glamping on the banks of the mighty Olifants River.
The two main day tours we run are: Kruger National Park tour Panoramic Route Road trip
Shorter trips are also available such as a visit to Jessica the Hippo, the Hoedspruit Reptile Centre and Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre. We are also close to the Blyde dam where we recommend a visit to the dam wall and a boat cruise on the dam itself. A little further a field are the Echo Caves if you like that type of thing.
Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve is 1000ha area with a large selection of plains game. We have an open vehicle which is ideal for game viewing. Also popular is the walk along the Olifants river.
I have a 5km, 8km and 12km route which I run on a regular basis. The challenge is to beat my time on any of the routes and to be rewarded with an extra day at the end of your stay. Of course there are terms and conditions. You must be a guest when you make the attempt. You need to mention that you are going for it. You start and finish at the borehole pump And you run in the middle of the day. Time to beat on the 5km is 27:34 (run at midday with a temp of 39 degrees) Time to beat on the 8km is 52:24 (also run at midday with a temp of 35 degrees) Time to beat on the 12km is 1:24:46 (midday run at 37 degrees) The distances are an approximate and different watches give a different result. The terrain is all off road and mostly on a jeep type track. You may complete the course in a clockwise or anti-clock wise direction.
